At Groots Workshop, we take pride in producing high-quality custom print, signage, and fabrication work. Because the majority of our products are made to order specifically for you, our return and refund policy reflects the custom nature of what we do. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

CUSTOM ORDERS — FINAL SALE
All custom orders — including but not limited to stickers, decals, banners, signs, apparel, laser engraved items, CNC fabricated parts, and 3D printed products — are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged once placed.
Custom orders are produced specifically for you and cannot be restocked or resold. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Customer errors, including typos, incorrect spelling, wrong colors, or incorrect sizing chosen at checkout
- Low-resolution or poor-quality artwork files submitted by the customer
- Design choices approved by the customer via digital proof
- Failure to use a discount code or coupon before completing checkout
- Change of mind after an order is placed

DIGITAL PROOF APPROVAL
Most custom orders include a digital proof for your review before we begin production. It is your responsibility to carefully review all proofs for spelling, layout, colors, sizing, and any other details before approving.
- Once a proof is approved, production begins immediately and the order is considered final
- If we do not receive a response within 72 hours of sending a proof, production will begin automatically and the order is considered approved
- Groots Workshop is not responsible for errors that were present in an approved proof
If you need changes to your proof, contact us before approving. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable revision requests prior to production.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS
We stand behind our work. If your order arrives damaged in transit or if we made an error on your order (wrong product, wrong size, our production mistake), we will make it right.
To be eligible for a reprint or resolution:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at richard@grootsworkshop.com
- Include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos of the damaged or incorrect item(s)
In most cases we will ask that you discard any unusable items — we do not require you to ship damaged stickers or prints back to us. Approved claims will be resolved at our discretion through a reprint, store credit, or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper application, storage, or use of the product after delivery.

LOST OR MISSING PACKAGES
All orders are insured through our shipping carriers. If your package is marked as delivered but has not arrived, or appears to be lost in transit:
- Contact us at richard@grootsworkshop.com with your order number
- Allow up to 25 business days for the carrier insurance claim process to be completed
- We are not liable for packages lost or undeliverable due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout

REFUNDS
When a refund is approved, it will be issued in the form of a Groots Workshop store credit (gift card) with no expiration date, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Refunds are not issued to the original payment method except where required by law.

RUSH FEES
Rush processing fees are non-refundable once production has begun or once a digital proof has been approved, whichever occurs first.

NON-CUSTOM ITEMS
If you purchased a non-custom, non-personalized item (such as a pre-made product or ready-to-ship item), you may be eligible for a return under the following conditions:
- Item must be unused and in its original condition
- Return request must be made within 14 days of delivery
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- A restocking fee of up to 50% may apply
- Contact us at richard@grootsworkshop.com before sending any return — unauthorized returns will not be accepted

LASER ENGRAVING, CNC FABRICATION & 3D PRINTING
Due to the nature of these services, additional considerations apply:
- Natural materials such as wood may exhibit grain, knot, or color variation that affects engraving appearance. These are inherent material characteristics and are not defects.
- 3D printed parts may exhibit layer lines, minor surface texture, and slight dimensional variance. These are standard characteristics of FDM printing and are not grounds for a refund or reprint.
- Customer-supplied design files that are improperly formatted, low resolution, or incompatible with our equipment may affect output quality. Groots Workshop is not responsible for results stemming from file issues outside our control.

COURTESY ADJUSTMENTS
In some cases, we may offer a one-time courtesy cancellation or change at our sole discretion as a gesture of goodwill. Accepting a courtesy adjustment does not waive our standard policies for any future orders.
